• Can I rearrange my working space in BenchMark BG Trader?

  BenchMark BG Trader functionality allows you to:

   Add, edit or delete windows from the “New window” menu

   Add modules to separate windows with the "Add window" function

   Save changes to your workspace from the “File” menu. When exiting the platform you will be asked whether to keep your workspace changes or not.

  More information about the functionality of BenchMark BG Trader workspaces is located in the User’s manual.

• Is my version of BenchMark BG Trader the latest?

  When starting BenchMark BG Trader, the platform automatically checks for updates and notifies you if such are available. The new version will automatically install on Your PC.

• How do I uninstall or reinstall BenchMark BG Trader?

  You can do the following:

  1) Click START -> Settings -> Control panel -> Add-remove programs

  2) Mark BenchMark BG Trader and then press Remove

  3) Go to C:Program files and delete the BenchMark BG Trader folder

  4) Reinstall BenchMark BG Trader, using the following link:

  Note: BenchMark BG Trader requires Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5, which is installed during the overall installation process.

• Can I start BenchMark BG Trader on more than one computer?

  It is possible to start BenchMark BG Trader on more than one computer.

  The Demo version can be downloaded and installed from here. You can use the same username and password.

  Note: You cannot start BenchMark BG Trader on two PCs with the same username and password at the same time.

  When using a live account you should do the following:

  1) Download the trading platform on the second computer using this direct link.

  2) After you download the platform you have to export the security key:

   Enter the started trading platform

   Open "File -> Personal data -> Certificate" and press “Export”. Enter the key password (this password is to protect the key only). Choose where to save the key. A message will appear: “The key was saved successfully”.

  3) Now you have to transfer the key to the other computer on which you wish to use BenchMark BG Trader:

   Install the key on the other computer by double click on the certificate and enter the password which you have chosen (2b).

   Enter BenchMark BG Trader.

• Is BenchMark BG Trader secure enough?

  The communication between BenchMark BG Trader and BenchMark Server is completed by HTTPS.

  The client certificates are used to sign the applications. The private key is 1024 bits long. The key guarantees maximum security and is practically impossible to be passed.

  If the username and the password are kept correctly, clients can be sure that they are well protected from any abuse with their accounts.

• How will BenchMark BG Trader look best on my computer?

  The recommended display style of Windows for working with the platform is XP Silver.

  You can change your Windows view from Display Properties > Appearance > Windows and buttons > Windows XP style > Color scheme > Silver.

• I have a problem with the installation of the platform?

  If you have a problem with the installation of BenchMark BG Trader, you can install the following components separately from the following links:

  Step 1: install Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 SP1

  Step 2: install Root CA certificate

  Step 3: install BenchMark BG Trader

  Note: Installation of the above components is done only once when the platform is initially started. If you have a Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 SP1, second installation is not necessary.
